Partha Chatterjee: “Apa-r” will return to court today following the presentation of a second charge sheet.

Posted on December 14, 2022 By No Comments on Partha Chatterjee: “Apa-r” will return to court today following the presentation of a second charge sheet.

Today, Wednesday, “Apa” returned to court following the ED’s second charge sheet in the recruitment corruption case. Arpita Mukherjee and Partha Chatterjee will virtually appear in the special court from behind bars. Sources claim that the ED will submit another application for Parth-jail Arpita’s custody. In the matter of recruiting corruption, the ED has provided the court with two chargesheets. In both charge papers, Partha Chatterjee and Arpita are listed as defendants. Perth, on the other hand, has filed a lawsuit contesting the legality of the ED’s charge sheet. The investigating officer of the ED, according to his attorney, is not authorised to file a chargesheet. Partha Chatterjee has therefore asked to be excused from this litigation. Parthar’s attorney will also argue for the hearing of this application in addition to for presumptive bail.

The second of the three deadlines for Subhendu Adhikari’s “December Dhamka” has passed. Partha Chattopadhyay, the former state minister of education, will be presented in court in Alipore once more today amid strong political rumours in Bengal.

On July 23, Partha Chatterjee was put under custody. Following that, the four professors Kalyanmoy Gangopadhyay, Subiresh Bhattacharya, Shantiprasad Sinha, and Ashok Saha were each hauled before the court individually. Prasannakumar Roy and Pradeep Singh, two middlemen, also showed up in court.

It should be remembered that Arpita Mukherjee requested to testify in the case involving charges of corruption earlier in the ED charge sheet. The charge sheet includes a number of additional problems that were brought up by the investigators. Parth’s stakes in numerous corporations were transferred to Arpita’s name following the passing of Parth’s wife Babli Chatterjee.
