GUWAHATI, NOV 14: The Union Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways and Ayush and Senior BJP leader, Sarbananda Sonowal took part in the inauguration ceremony of the new BJP party office of Nagaland on Monday.
The National President of BJP, JP Nadda virtually inaugurated the office during the day long programme. The event was also attended by the National Spokesperson of BJP & Party Coordinator for NE states, Dr Sambit Patra, the National Joint Secretary (Organisation), Shiv Prakash; the President of BJP party in Nagaland, Along Imna; the MP in Rajya Sabha, Phangnon Konyak; along with other leaders of the party & karyakartas.
While addressing the karyakartas, JP Nadda said, “It is my honor to inaugurate one of the biggest party offices of the North East. It is an office with all the modern facilities for BJP Karyakartas, and will work as a destination to impart formal as well as informal learnings. It is a Sanskar-Kendra, where lot of formal and informal education takes place culminating into Sankaras. These Sankaras inspire us to work for people with utmost dedication. Out of 512 planned offices across the country, this is the 237th office which is being inaugurated. We’re glad to state that 153 BJP offices at the district level are under construction. We have come a long way in strengthening the party. BJP’s growth has been enormous due people’s support. Now, we have a double-engine government and our primary membership in the state of Nagaland has magnified a lot.”
Speaking on the occasion, Sarbananda Sonowal said, “Our karyakartas are our biggest strength on ground. Their untiring work, commitment to serve & nation building has bolstered the strength of the party. With this new office of the party, the BJP Nagaland will be able to further this commitment and facilitate smooth execution of organisational work. I thank JP Nadda ji for inaugurating this office today which has given encouragement to the karyakartas to keep moving forward.”
Sonowal further added, “Under the dynamic leadership of PM Narendra Modi ji, the welfare schemes launched has helped people of the country. The Northeast was grossly ignored as no sincere effort was provided to uplift the region. But, under Modi ji, the Northeast became the new engine of growth for the new India, as the states of Northeast became to be recognised as the Asta Lakshmi. Under Modi ji’s strong leadership, permanent peace dawned in the region paving the way for all round development. Nagaland is no exception as the state is experiencing similar growth benefitting people across all sections of the society. This has further consolidated people’s faith & belief in BJP.”
