Mamata Banerjee said Those who made mistakes should get a chance to correct them

Posted on November 10, 2022 By No Comments on Mamata Banerjee said Those who made mistakes should get a chance to correct them
Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister of West Bengal, said on Wednesday that individuals who have made mistakes should be given the chance to make amends, weeks after prominent Trinamool Congress (TMC) officials were detained in connection with several instances.
But she avoided mentioning any names.
The TMC party chairperson, Banerjee, asserted that the allegations of corruption against TMC leaders had been exaggerated.
“The entire group shouldn’t be held accountable if one or two people make a mistake.
There is an effort to paint the entire party in a negative light, as if every member of the TMC is a robber.
The worst robbers in the BJP are its leaders, she declared during a party workers’ meeting in Krishnanagar, Nadia district.
Former education minister Partha Chatterjee was detained by the ED in July in connection with the School Service Commission (SSC) recruitment scandal, while TMC Birbhum district president Anubrata Mondal was detained by the CBI in August on suspicion of cattle smuggling.
Banerjee also issued a warning to her party’s MLAs in the fractious Nadia district, saying that anyone caught engaging in intra-party warfare will be expelled from the organisation.
Those who engage in politics to “satisfy their ego,” according to Banerjee, would not be accommodated in the TMC.
Her comments followed news stories alleging that several local TMC leaders had attacked a car carrying Murshidabad TMC leader Murshidabad’s supporters in Karimpur. If someone has made a mistake, Banerjee stated, “the person should be given a chance to correct such faults.”

“Our legislators should not quarrel among themselves. I won’t keep a quarrelsome person in the party. I will request all MLAs in the region to stop fighting among themselves. If you don’t stop infighting, you have no place in this party. If you have an ego, you better stay at home; you won’t be needed. If you want to serve people, then go out and work for the people,” she said.” she said.

The CM said infighting sends a wrong message and provides an advantage to the opposition forces.

“Organisation should be done well in Nadia district. I will be setting up a coordination committee, in which the MP of the region, MLAs of the region and the Zilla Parishad president will be part. We will work together for the betterment of the region. If the TMC stays united, no BJP, CPI(M) or Congress will be able to fight against us,” she said.

“The Panchayat polls will be held soon. But now it’s time to act. Finish the remaining work,”

Banerjee also established a coordination committee on Wednesday to support the organization’s expansion in the Nadia area.
Mahua Moitra, the MP for Krishnanagar, Rikta Kundu, the chairwoman of the Nadia zila parishad, and all of the district’s MLAs are members of the committee.
Later, Mamata assured the committee members, “You will cooperate.
Call each person in a block when you arrive there.
A TMC family they are.
It is impenetrable.
