IIM Kozhikode, TimesPro Launch Strategic Management Programme for CXOs to Shape Future-Ready Leaders

Kozhikode (Kerala) [India], November 20: To equip future leaders and C-suite executives with the essential skills to thrive in an ever-evolving global business environment, the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, in collaboration with TimesPro, a leading Higher EdTech platform, has launched the Strategic Management Programme for CXOs. The programme is designed to cultivate modern leadership acumen and business strategies to navigate global uncertainties and the complexities brought on by technological disruption.

The Strategic Management Programme for CXOs is a 10-month blended learning programme developed to align with organisations’ strategic goals, fostering future readiness while building resilient business structures. Learners will gain a deep understanding of decision-making processes and develop the competencies required to lead large-scale organisational transformations. The curriculum instils a refined C-suite mindset, emphasising business realities, customer-centricity, and innovation. Through the programme’s STAR modules, learners will acquire strategic thinking capabilities, embrace cutting-edge technologies, and develop a comprehensive business perspective while honing responsible managerial competencies—giving both aspiring and current CXOs a competitive advantage.

According to a study, approximately eight out of ten employers offer company-sponsored upskilling programmes, yet only 51% of employees make use of these opportunities, with time constraints and family commitments cited as the primary barriers. Another report highlights that human skills—such as leadership, communication, and emotional intelligence—are in twice as much demand across sectors compared to AI and machine learning despite the significant growth of these technologies in the job market. Thus, adopting a strategic mindset is paramount for today’s global business leaders, and the Strategic Management Programme for CXOs offers the necessary tools and resources to meet this demand.

Speaking at the announcement, Prof. Debashis Chatterjee, Director IIM Kozhikode, said: “In today’s highly competitive and constantly changing business landscape, the continuous upskilling of senior executives is more important than ever. The IIM Kozhikode Strategic Management Programme for CXOs is a pioneering initiative that empowers leaders with cutting-edge skills and strategic insights through the comprehensive STAR module, enabling professionals to guide their organisations with a technology-driven, strategic, and analytical framework.”

Sunil Sood, Chief Growth & Partnership Officer, TimesPro, said: “The IIM Kozhikode Senior Management Programme for CXOs is aimed at fostering profound business transformation. This programme equips senior executives with the necessary skills to make informed strategic decisions, lead their organisations effectively in a global context, and achieve remarkable growth and success. The curriculum is aligned with the rapidly changing industrial landscape and is tailored to help senior leaders achieve their strategic goals and objectives.”

The programme aims to develop STAR leadership qualities in senior professionals and aspiring CXOs. It covers a wide range of topics, including Corporate Strategy, Risk and Growth Management, Data Science and Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Transformation, Cybersecurity and Information Management, Brand Management, Operations, Corporate Finance, Change Management, CSR, and Crisis Management, among others. The curriculum also includes a Capstone Leadership Module and a three-day campus immersion session, fostering peer-to-peer interaction and faculty engagement, culminating in collaborative projects designed to enhance practical skills.

Delivered via TimesPro’s Interactive Learning (IL) platform through a Direct-to-Device (D2D) mode, the program blends an academic curriculum with real-world applications, employing case-based learning, simulations, lectures and in-class exercises. Learners will gain valuable insights into driving sustainable growth, fostering innovation and leading transformative change within their organisations.
