DIBRUGARH, FEB 16: The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dental College, Dibrugarh celebrated international day of Maxillofacial Surgery on Thursday in Dibrugarh.
The international day of Maxillofacial Surgery was observed on February 13 every year.
It was celebrated to spread awareness among the citizens of Dibrugarh on rash Driving and its consequences.
The Oral and maxillofacial surgery department along with the teaching staff and students of Government Dental College , Dibrugarh participated in a Walkathon, which started from Government Dental College ,Dibrugarh to Paltan bazar.
The walkathon was inaugurated by Dr Chandana Kalita, Principal of Government Dental College Dibrugarh. Dr Pradeep Kumar Sharma and Dr Anindita Bhagawati led the Walkathon and conducted a street play to spread the message of OSMF day.
The awarness camp highlighted about the safety of wearing helmet and belt while driving.
