Mahindra has partnered with Dolby Laboratories to introduce Dolby Atmos in its Electric Origin SUVs, BE 6 and XEV 9e, marking a significant milestone as the first Indian automaker to integrate this immersive audio technology into its electric vehicles. The partnership aims to redefine in-car entertainment by offering an unparalleled audio experience.
Dolby Atmos will be accessible through the Gaana app, integrated into the SUVs’ infotainment systems, delivering a studio-like sound experience for drivers and passengers. This collaboration elevates the listening journey, bringing unmatched clarity and depth to music, podcasts, and more. With this innovation, Mahindra is setting a new standard for premium in-car entertainment in India, blending cutting-edge audio technology with its electric SUV lineup.

Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9e come equipped with a premium 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system as standard, designed to deliver an immersive in-cabin audio experience. The front seats feature three-way speakers with tweeters, mid-range drivers, and woofers for precise sound output. At the center, Harman’s patented Unity Speaker ensures seamless audio balance, while high-fidelity mid-range speakers provide rear surround sound. Enhancing the experience further, the system includes a powerful subwoofer and two ceiling-mounted speaker drivers, which, combined with Dolby Atmos, create an unparalleled, studio-like sound environment for passengers.
