‘I Got the Murder Done’: Gangster Kapil Sangwan Posts Shocking Confession; Claims Hit Order On Delhi Property Dealer

Posted on April 13, 2025 By No Comments on ‘I Got the Murder Done’: Gangster Kapil Sangwan Posts Shocking Confession; Claims Hit Order On Delhi Property Dealer

New Delhi: In a new development hinting at escalating gang rivalries, a gangster based in London took responsibility for the murder of a property dealer in New Delhi. The 52-year-old victim, Rajkumar Dalal, was gunned down in Paschim Vihar (East) on Friday, April 11, while he was on his way to the gym. According to reports, the attack took place when the two vehicles intercepted Dalal’s Toyota Fortuner and opened fire, pumping around 15 bullets into the car.

Sangwan’s Social Media Confession

The police’s suspicion of gang-related violence was confirmed when Kapil Sangwan, alias Nandu, claimed responsibility for the killing through a post on Facebook. Currently hiding in London, Nandu is wanted under an Interpol Red Corner Notice. In his post written in Hindi, he wrote, “I got the murder done. He used to occupy a plot for my enemy Manjeet Mahal. When out on parole, I met Manjeet Mahal and told him that whoever supports him would become my enemy.” He further warned, “Don’t play this victim card. You started it. I am going to finish it.”

The police believe the hit was premeditated, with the attackers likely surveying the area in advance. The precision and speed of the attack also suggest that the killers were highly organised.

Police Investigation Underway, Case May Go to Crime Branch

According to a report by NDTV, the incident is currently under investigation and may soon be transferred to the Delhi Police’s Crime Branch. Officials are reportedly analysing the CCTV footage from the vicinity to trace the culprits. “A case has been registered and multiple teams have been formed to crack the case,” a senior police officer told the publication.

Dalal is survived by his wife, Sujata, and their son, who works as a doctor. The family, according to police sources, were unaware of any enmity or threats against him, making the revelation of gang links all the more shocking.
