Babus, mantris & buzz: PM Modi cautions against spilt within the Congress!

PM Modi cautions against spilt within the Congress!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent caution about a possible split within the Congress has triggered intense speculation among political analysts. His remark, seen as more than casual observation, is being interpreted as a calculated signal. Many believe it reflects intelligence inputs or ground-level feedback suggesting discontent among Congress state units ahead of key Assembly elections. Analysts say the statement disrupts the Congress’s efforts to project unity under Mallikarjun Kharge and the Gandhi family, while subtly amplifying internal rifts between the old guard and younger leaders. For Modi, raising the issue publicly plants seeds of doubt just as opposition parties attempt to consolidate under the INDIA bloc. Pundits note that such assertions from a sitting Prime Minister are rare unless politically loaded, making it both a warning and a provocation—reshaping the narrative in a way that forces the Congress to defend cohesion instead of setting the agenda.

Journalists sent back from Delhi Congress HQ?

Journalists who were initially called to the Congress headquarters in New Delhi on Friday were reportedly asked to leave without any formal briefing or statement from party leaders. The move came amid palpable tension and shock within the Congress camp following the party’s dismal performance in the Bihar assembly elections. According to sources present at the venue, media personnel had gathered expecting an official reaction or press conference from senior leaders, but were later informed that no interaction would take place. Party functionaries appeared visibly dejected, with many avoiding questions about the leadership’s next steps. The abrupt cancellation, insiders say, reflects the scale of disappointment within the Congress after its poor electoral showing, which has once again raised questions about its organizational strategy and leadership credibility, particularly in key Hindi heartland states where the party continues to struggle for relevance.
