Surat (Gujarat) [India], April 1: Solex Energy Limited (NSE: SOLEX), one of India’s most trusted solar brands, has reinforced its commitment to social responsibility and road safety by contributing INR 11,00,000/- (Eleven Lakhs Only) to the Traffic Education Trust. This initiative aligns with Solex’s ongoing efforts to support law enforcement and promote safe commuting practices in collaboration with the Surat Traffic Police.

The contribution was formally presented to Shri Anupam Singh Gahlaut, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Surat City, and Smt. Amita Vanani, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), by Shri Chetan Shah, Chairman & Managing Director, Solex Energy Limited, reinforcing Solex’s commitment to fostering a safer and more disciplined traffic environment. The occasion was also graced by Shri Vipul Shah, Director, Solex Energy Limited, and Shri Anil Rathi, Director, Solex Energy Limited.

“As a responsible corporate entity, Solex believes in contributing to meaningful social causes that create lasting impact. Road safety is a critical concern, and we are honored to collaborate with the Surat Traffic Police in their mission to ensure safer streets for all,” said Chetan Shah, Chairman & Managing Director, Solex Energy Limited.

Solex has been actively involved in road safety awareness initiatives, recently participating in the distribution of reflective safety elements for two-wheeler riders. This campaign, conducted in coordination with the Surat Traffic Police under the Gujarat Police’s ‘Parvah Che’ initiative, aims to enhance visibility and reduce accidents, encouraging responsible driving habits among commuters.

“We sincerely appreciate the relentless efforts of the Surat City Police in ensuring the well-being of our citizens. Solex remains committed to supporting such impactful initiatives and looks forward to continued collaboration for a safer and more responsible traffic ecosystem,” added Shri Shah.

The company’s contribution to the Traffic Education Trust is a testament to its Vision 2030, which emphasises sustainability, social responsibility, and positive community impact.
