Gandhidham | Gujarat — The Kachchh District Table Tennis Association (KDTTA), under the aegis of the Gujarat State Table Tennis Association, is organising the Cosco Gujarat State Prize Money Table Tennis Tournament 2025 for Sub Junior (U-15) on 27th and 28th December, 2025 at the Late M. P. Mittra Indoor Stadium, Haresh Sangtani Sports Complex, Naranpura, Gandhidham.
This prestigious state-level tournament is being conducted in the loving memory of Late Shri Mahesh Nauratmal Gupta of Rishi Kiran Group, as a tribute to his valuable contribution and encouragement towards sports development.
The tournament features an elite field, with the top 8 players of Gujarat in both Boys and Girls categories being specially invited to compete. A total prize money of ₹64,000 is at stake, and all top 8 players in each category will receive prize money, further motivating young talent at the sub-junior level.
This year marks the second consecutive edition of the tournament organised by KDTTA, reflecting the association’s continued commitment towards nurturing and promoting table tennis talent in Gujarat.
Day 1 of the competition is witnessing intense group stage matches, where paddlers are battling for a place in the knockout rounds.
Among the tournament favourites are Top Seed Dev Bhatt of Rajkot, along with Dwij Bhalodia of Ahmedabad in the boys’ category. In the girls’ section, strong contenders include Fiza Pawar of Ahmedabad and Dhimahi Kabrawal of Surat. Adding further excitement is local favourite Dhruv Bhambani.
The tournament is being played using equipment sponsored by STIGA, ensuring international playing standards for the participants.
