Dibrugarh: Delhi Public School Dibrugarh organised a Felicitation ceremony to acknowledge and applaud the achievements of the first batch of students who brought laurels to the school in the AISSE, Class X Board Examinations -2023 on Saturday,
The Felicitation ceremony started with Shloka chanting, lighting of the lamp and Ganesh Vandana , in the presence of Chief Guest Shrimati Sanghamitra Baruah, Additional Deputy Commissioner- Education, Dibrugarh, Founder of Gyan Ved Foundation Mahabir Prasad Jain, PVC CA Sanjay Jain, Board Member Banita Jain Principal Probhati Biswas, Devyanshi Jain, Parents, School Staff and students.
A grand cultural programme to laud the efforts of all the achievers was presented.
The achievers were awarded with exclusive Prizes, mementos and flower garlands as tokens of appreciation for their unbeatable success. Priyanshu Sekhar, the topper of the school who secured 98.4% was awarded with a laptop. All those who secured 90% and above were presented with sports wrist watches and all the others were presented with exclusive gifts.
All the prize winners were invited on the stage with their parents.
Further in the ceremony, Top 5 teachers were felicitated on the basis of their subject aggregate, to give recognition to their commendable hard work and dedication throughout the academic year.
Honourable Chief Guest Shrimati Sanghamitra Baruah congratulated the students and teachers for securing an overall aggregate of 90% and encouraged them to develop their unique identity and confidence to reach the pinnacle of success with grit and determination.
Prof.Jiten Hazarika, Vice Chancellor, Dibrugarh University sent his warm wishes to all the achievers and the school staff for their grand achievement. He further added, “Students should read book which ignite their minds to achieve something tangible for themselves and the society, of which they are integral parts”.

The PVC of the school CA Sanjay Jain and Principal Probhati Biswas thanked the parents and all other stakeholders for their unflinching support and cooperation.
Priyanshu Sekhar’s father, Col S. Sekhar thanked the management and staff of DPS Dibrugarh on behalf of all the parents.
