Mumbai/Vadodara,September 18, 2026:The Baroda Cricket Association (BCA) further strengthened its position in Indian cricket as Mr. Pranav Amin represented the association at the 95th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) held at the BCCI Headquarters in Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.The AGM brought together key cricket administrators from across the country to discuss governance, financial planning, domestic cricket, future tournaments, and the overall growth of Indian cricket. The meeting also served as an important platform for state associations to engage directly with BCCI leadership and contribute to decision-making on the sport’s future.
The participation comes at a significant time for the Baroda Cricket Association, with Vadodara set to host a series of prestigious international events. Beginning in October 2026, the BCA Stadium will host the India Senior Women’s Team vs Zimbabwe Women’s Team, followed by the India Under-19 vs England Under-19 series.Further enhancing Baroda’s growing stature on the global cricket map, the BCA Stadium has also been selected as a venue for the inaugural ICC Champions League, scheduled for February 2027, featuring India, Australia, England, South Africa, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka. The allocation of these marquee events reflects the confidence placed in BCA’s infrastructure, administration, and proven hosting capabilities.Speaking after the AGM, Mr. Pranav Amin credited BCA’s success to teamwork and its strong relationship with the BCCI.”It was an honour to represent the Baroda Cricket Association at the 95th BCCI AGM.
